Job Description

Members of the Guest Experience team are responsible for creating enjoyable spaces for guests. As a Housekeeper working at the Calabogie Peaks Hotel, you will work in a team to clean 25 rooms and common areas to prepare and maintain the hotel for welcomed guests.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Follow the regular cleaning schedule and adjust as needed.
  • Clean hotel and common rooms as directed.
  • Remove all bed linens and replace them with a fresh set of linens.
  • Wipe walls, windows, doors and fixtures.
  • Sanitize showers, sinks, toilets and mirrors.
  • Vacuum carpets and clean hard floors.
  • Stock cleaning closets.

  • Able to adapt in a fast pace, constant changing environment within a dynamic work schedule.
  • Able to maintain composure and objectivity.
  • Able to handle problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary
  • Is flexible with their schedule, able to work long hours, shift work, evenings, weekends and holidays as business levels require
  • Required to lift/carry objects and stand for long periods of time.

Education:

  • Experience in a hotel or recreational facility.
  • Experience cleaning industrial or residential buildings.
  • High school diploma is an asset.
