Which Way to the Beach?
Unlimited opportunities await families, friends, adventure seekers or those wanting to “get away from it all.” Situated along the beautiful Calabogie Lake, the beach is the go-to place for boaters, paddlers, swimmers and for those looking to play some horseshoes, beach volleyball or relax waterside on the sandy beach.
Calabogie Lake offers fabulous scenic paddling for a peaceful afternoon of water exploration and discovery. The lake, a widening of the Madawaska River, was in the mid 1800’s, a holding and sorting location for the foresters logging up river. Once sorted the floating logs made the trip from Calabogie to the Ottawa River and onto the St. Lawrence River.
