WHAT OUR GUESTS FROM TORONTO HAVE TO SAY…

Magical place. For just a bit more of a drive from Toronto it is so much more relaxing. Family loves skiing, fishing, canoeing, hiking, the wilderness, the beach…. When Kapil is cooking I think the food is the best between Ottawa and Toronto. Ottawa Valley staff are a refreshing change from urbanites

“Playing a little game of #pondhockey @CalabogiePeaks . The stars are out, half a moon high in the sky & refreshing crisp breeze in the air.

We were there in the spring and it was extremely therapeutic. On our drive from Toronto we saw several deer families perched along the road in the scenic drive. At the resort we saw the resident otter swimming laps in the pond, mainly in the early mornings. Owls and Eagles were abundant. And along the trail to Eagle’s Nest there were lots of other wildlife. The resort itself is clean and quiet. We tried the hot tub and the pool. The staff were very kind and loaned us sticks to roast our marshmallows on the bonfire they made every night”
