Snowcross is back on for Saturday & Sunday!!
(Dec. 3 & 4, 2011)


Snowmobile Racers and fans from across Canada and the US will gather December 3 & 4 at Calabogie Peaks Resort to celebrate the 2nd annual Capital Cup.

Race classes involve all snowmobilers from Novice racers, Children, Junior, Girls, Women, Veterans (30+), Masters (40+) and professionals. The CSRA will be awarding over $160,000 in cash prizes during the 11 event winter circuit.

Saturday's races will feature Kids and Sport Class racing with a Rockstar Energy Pro Open Final in the afternoon. On Sunday Kids, Juniors and Sport racers compete in the morning followed by the Rockstar Energy Pro Open racers competing for the “Capital Cup” Championship.

The CSRA Canadian Snocross season opener at Calabogie Peaks Resort outside of Ottawa was a little light on the snow side, but the rain that hit the Ottawa area bypassed Calabogie. Although muddy and gravely conditions were the operative words as the weekend progressed.

Next weekend Calabogie Peaks will be hosting the first race of the season for the Canadian Snowcross Racing Association.
